Anthony "Tony" Elmore

Anthony "Tony" Elmore, 59 of Amity, Indiana passed away June 12, 2021 at his residence. He was the son of Ronnie and Dorothy (Houchin) Elmore. He was born February 17, 1962 in Franklin, Indiana.

He is survived by his mother of Franklin, Indiana, son, David Elmore of North Vernon, Indiana, daughters, Kori (JH) Morgan of Scipio, Indiana, Renee Harris of Bloomington, Indiana, and Jennifer (Matt) Strain of Springville, Indiana, eleven grandchildren, brothers, Troy (Lisa) Elmore of Amity, Indiana, Andy Elmore of Amity, Indiana, and James (Becky) Elmore of Crescent City, Florida, and sisters, Marilyn (Randy) Hodson of Nashville, Indiana, Carolyn (Ronnie) Hodson of Amity, Indiana, and Denise Weird of Bardstown, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his father and daughter, Robyn Elmore.

Tony was a self-employed auto mechanic. He enjoyed attending auto racing events, spending time with family, especially his grandchildren, being outdoors, fishing, and camping.

A funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Doug Brown at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Amity Baptist Church in Amity, Indiana. Calling will be from 11:00 AM Tuesday until time of service at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana.
