Arnold A. Austin

Arnold Alexander Austin, 90 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away Friday, February 25, 2022 at his residence. He was born May 26, 1931 in Lafayette, Tennessee. He was the son of John Austin and Lora (Pipkin) Austin. He married Carolyn L. (Jones) Austin on February 8, 1964 and she survives. He is also survived by his sons, Donny (Joyce) Austin of Franklin, Indiana and Tony Austin of Franklin, Indiana, daughter, Patsy L. (Paul) Volkoff of Venice, Florida. 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Sherry L. Knauer, 7 brothers, and 1 sister.

Arnold was a member of Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall in Franklin, Indiana. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired from CUI and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

A funeral service will be conducted by Elder Kent Fischer at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at the Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 12:00 until time of service at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
