Audrey R Ingram

Audrey Regina Ingram, 83 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Willow Crossing Health and Rehabilitation Center in Columbus, Indiana. She was born October 16, 1938 in Campbellsville, Kentucky. She was the daughter of James R. Gilbert and Nellie E. (Benningfield) Gambrel. She married Charles Ingram on May 1, 1975 and he preceded her in death on April 6, 2012.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah L. Simpson Fields of Edinburgh, Indiana, son, Jerald L. Simpson of Edinburgh, Indiana, step-sons, Charles Ingram of New York and Anthony Ingram of Indiana, grandchildren, Stacy (Michael) Louden of Edinburgh, Indiana, Jennifer Sherlock of Florida, and Ricky (Heather) Stevens ,Jr. of Franklin, Indiana, and sister, Barbara Wood of Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Norman Gilbert, sister, Virginia Gilbert, and grandson, Dakota Stevens.

Audrey was a member of the former Assembly of God Church in Franklin. She formerly worked at Edinburgh License Branch. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, ceramics, and reading her Bible.

A graveside service will be conducted by Reverend Ricky Burton at 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana.
