Barbara Little

Barbara Little, 86 of Franklin, Indiana, formerly of Edinburgh, passed away August 3, 2023 at Compass Park, Franklin, Indiana. She was born December 29, 1936 in Shelbyville, Indiana. She was the daughter of Harry and Edith A. (Parsley) Stainbrook. She married Dorman F. Little on August 11, 1956 and he preceded her in death on November 11, 2008.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (John) Tranter of Franklin, Indiana and grandchildren, Zachary Tranter and Casey Tranter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Barbara graduated from Mt. Auburn High School. She was a member of the Taylorsville United Methodist Church and a member of the Order of Eastern Star in both Columbus and Greensburg.

She was employed by Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation in food service at Columbus North High School and retired after 20 years.

She enjoyed playing golf and euchre.

A private family graveside service will be conducted at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Taylorsville United Methodist Church.
