Bettie J Billingsley

Bettie J. Billingsley, 80 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away March 16, 2022 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin, Indiana. She was born March 21, 1941 in Franklin, Indiana. She was the daughter of Clarence W. and Jeanne F. (Dailey) Ashley.

She is survived by her daughters, Cara E. Billingsley of Edinburgh, Indiana and Traci L. (Robert) Dale of Holley, New York, sons, Jay W. Billingsley of Franklin, Indiana and Brandon Billingsley of New Hampshire, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Mary Stout.

Bettie was a 1959 graduate of Edinburgh High School. She served many years on the Board of Directors of Edinburgh Wright-Hageman Public Library. She had worked at Amos-Hill Plastics in Edinburgh, Edinburgh State Bank, and Rogers-Gesse Attorneys in Franklin. She enjoyed reading and gardening.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Edinburgh Wright-Hageman Public Library at 119 W. Main Cross Street, Edinburgh, Indiana, 46124.
