Brenda Jo Cox

Brenda Jo Cox, 71 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away June 5, 2023 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was born October 14, 1951 in Franklin, Indiana. She was the daughter of Frank Carl and Mary Ellen (Walters) Repp. She married James A. Cox on June 6, 1969 and he survives. She is also survived by her daughter, Crystal (Darren) Stewart of Columbus, Indiana, sons, Adam (Amanda) Cox of Edinburgh, Indiana and Andrew (Rebecca Whitehorse) Cox of Edinburgh, Indiana, 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and sister, Karen Lovins of Columbus, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Beverly Sue Gabbard.

Brenda was a member of Beta Sigma Pi Sorority in Edinburgh. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren, attending Edinburgh sports, especially high school basketball, antiquing and attending auctions.

A funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Stacey Tucker at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh. Calling will be on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the church and from 11:00 AM on Friday until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Edinburgh High School Athletic Department.
