Carl K. Cox

Carl K. Cox, Sr., 69 of Columbus, Indiana passed away April 1, 2023 at his residence. He was born March 4, 1954 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was the son of Jerry Cox and Elizabeth (Miller) Cox. He married Mary J. (Wright) Cox on November 27, 1982 and she survives. He is also survived by sons, Carl K. (Shannon) Cox,11, of Columbus, Indiana and Cody J. (Britany) Cox of Columbus, Indiana, daughter, Izena Ferguson of Missouri, and 8 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 grandchildren, brothers, David Cox, Harold Cox, Garnett Cox, Everett Cox, Johnny Cox, and Willard Cox, and sisters, Sarah Pool and Ruth Elliott.

Carl retired from PMG as a press operator. He enjoyed woodcarving, fishing, and hunting arrowheads.

A funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Ricky Burton at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
