Carol Janie Hall

Carol "Janie" Harmon Hall, 59 of Columbus, Indiana passed away April 28, 2021 at Our Hospice In Patient Facility in Columbus. She was born December 15, 1961 in Columbus. She was the daughter of Verlin Harmon and Mary E. (Streeval) Dickerson.

She is survived by daughter, Tracy (Justin) Hall-Shipley of Franklin, Indiana, sister, Vickie (Thomas) Harmon Schoolcraft of Columbus, Indiana, and nephews, Roger Binder of Henryville, Indiana and Trever Schoolcraft of Columbus, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Janie was a 1980 graduate of Edinburgh High School and a member of Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh.

She was employed by Developmental Services in Columbus. She enjoyed making crafts and then donated the money she made to Human Services. She taught sign language and cooking classes for DSI. She would read mail to those who were unable to read or see. She was recognized as an organ donor.

A funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Randy Denton at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church. Calling will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday, May 3, and from 10:00 AM Tuesday until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
