Carole Sheckles

Carole Sheckles, 78 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away September 14, 2022 at Homeview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Franklin, Indiana. She was born November 7, 1943 in Franklin, Indiana. She was the daughter of Wilford Hilly and Evelyn (Smith) Harrison. She married Danny K. Sheckles on December 8, 1967 and he survives. She is also survived by her sons, Brian (Viola) Sheckles of Brown County, Indiana and Tim (Jessica) Sheckles of Washington, Indiana, daughters, Krissy Chandler of Edinburgh, Indiana, Misty (Karen Davila) Lucas of Edinburgh, Indiana, and Susie Bryant of Taylorsville, Indiana, 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, brothers, Jimmy Joe Harrison of Edinburgh, Indiana, and Steven Lynn (Bonnie) Harrison of Edinburgh, Indiana, and sister, Shirley Crew of Edinburgh, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Matthew Sheckles, brother, Rex Harrison, and sister, Patsy VanDiver.

Carole was an Edinburgh High School graduate. She was a member of the former Edinburgh Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, reading, going to the Casino, lottery tickets, and watching cooking shows.

A funeral service will be conducted by Brother Larry Biddle at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
