Charlene A. Wiggins

Charlene Ann Wiggins, 76 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away April 5, 2021 at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born March 10, 1945 in Indianapolis. She was the daughter of Robert E. and Georgina (Holland) Pope. She married Richard Wiggins on September 28, 1996 and he survives. She is also survived by her sons, Ronald E. (Joeli) Smith Jr. of Greenfield, Indiana, Donald E. (Pam) Smith of Franklin, Indiana, and Shane Smith of Edinburgh, Indiana, daughters, Arlene (Joseph) Stuart of Greensburg, Indiana and Reba (Derrick) Smith of Edinburgh, Indiana, twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Dustin Smith, and a brother.

Charlene retired from GTR after several years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, fishing, sewing, baking, helping others, and was a country music fan.

A funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Paul Hornberger at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Who-So-Ever-Community Church in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday at the church and from 11:00 AM until time of service on Friday. Burial will be at Nineveh Cemetery in Nineveh, Indiana.
