Charles E Clawson

Charles E. Clawson, 82 of Franklin, Indiana passed away April 12, 2026 at his residence. He was born December 13, 1943 in Martinsville, Indiana and is the son of Charles G. Clawson and Naomi W. Vandivier. Charles married Sandra (Swanson) Clawson on April 27, 2002 and she survives.

He is also survived by his daughter, Kimberly Clawson of Bargersville, Indiana; stepdaughters, Shelly Beauchamp of Freetown, Indiana and Melissa (Alan) Hayes of Columbus, Indiana.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Clawson and his sister, Lois Burton.

Charles was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed boating, fishing, working in the yard and being outdoors.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted by Jeremy Keller at 6:00 PM on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until time of service.
