Derek Todd Burton

Derek Todd Burton, 34 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away May 27, 2022 at his residence. He was born September 24, 1987 in Franklin, Indiana. He was the son of, Malcolm Todd Burton and Traci Grass. He married Chevon (Asher) Burton and she survives. He is also survived by his mother, Traci Grass of Franklin, Indiana, wife, children, Annica Burton, Gunnar Burton, and Stryker Burton, sisters, Destinee Burton of Hope, Indiana, Dakota (David) Mikesell of Franklin, Indiana, and Chloe Grass of Franklin, Indiana, grandparents, Shorty (Vicki) Burton of Edinburgh, Indiana, Jack Grass of Franklin, Indiana, and Joretta Grass of Nineveh, Indiana, aunt, Penny (Randy) Willard of Edinburgh, Indiana, nephew, Zion Elliott, and his dog, Elle.

He was preceded in death by his father, Malcolm Todd Burton.

Derek was a 2006 graduate of Franklin Community High School. He was a supervisor at Amazon Distribution Center. He enjoyed attending his children's sporting events, cooking, animals, computer gaming, and listening to talk radio.

A Memorial Service will be conducted by Aaron Thurman at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00.
