Diane Evans

Diane Evans, 75 of Flat Rock, Indiana passed away September 17, 2025, at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born February 11, 1950, in Revelo, Kentucky. She is the daughter of Paul Ross and Sally (Ridener) Browning. Diane married Kenneth W. Evans Sr. on July 30, 1968, and he survives.

Diane is survived by her son, Kenneth W. (Dawn) Evans Jr. of Flat Rock, Indiana, daughter Brandy Evans of Flat Rock, Indiana, grandchildren, Anthony Evans, Wyatt Evans, Shane Evans, Serenity Evans, Skylar Evans, Brittany Thomas and Andrew Tillison, great-grandchild Bailey Thomas, brother, Jack (Ginger) Ross of Shelbyville, Indiana, sisters, Helen (Bud) Jorgensen of Illinois, Donna Welch of Illinois and her dog, Mimi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Michael D. Evans, brothers, Gary Ross and Ray Ridener.

Diane retired after 30 years from Waldron Heath Care. She was a black belt in karate, and enjoyed playing Sudoku, riding her golf cart, feeding the chipmunks, spending time with her grandchildren and family cookouts.

A funeral service will be conducted at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana by Pastor Andy on Monday, September 22, 2025 at 2:00pm. Visitation will be from 11:00am until time of service. Burial will be at Nineveh Cemetery in Nineveh, Indiana.
