Donald "Donnie" E Hadley

Donald E. "Donnie" Hadley, 78, of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away on August 18, 2026, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on September 21, 1947, in Edinburgh, Indiana and is the son of Elvin and Marie (Caldwell) Hadley. Donnie married Linda Sue (Graham) Hadley on September 23, 1966, and she preceded him in death on February 15, 2015.

Donnie is survived by his daughter, Linda (Tony) Farrow of Franklin, Indiana; granddaughter, Gladys Lucille Livesay; great grandson, Kingston Edward Arthur of Franklin, Indiana; brothers, Robert "Ofie" Hadley of Edinburgh, Indiana, Morris Dale "Pick" (Sheila) Hadley of Edinburgh, Indiana, Richard "Rick" Hadley of New Castle, Indiana and David "Kojak" Hadley of New Castle, Indiana; sisters, Wanda Bryant of Edinburgh, Indiana and Shirley (Dean) McGaha of Edinburgh, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Donnie was a member of Who So Ever Will Community Church in Edinburgh, Indiana and the American Legion Post 233 in Edinburgh where he was also a member of the Honor Guard. He served in the US Army in the 101st Airborne Division. Donnie retired from Case Construction as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his great grandson, friends and his friends at the legion.

There will be no funeral services as that was Donnie's wishes.
