Edward R Cobb

Edward R. Cobb, 75 of Trafalgar, Indiana passed away July 16, 2022 at Franciscan Hospice House in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born October 10, 1946 in Columbus, Indiana. He was the son of Maurice "Hillbilly" Cobb and Olive Mae (Chapman) Cobb Robinson. He married Jessie J. (Patterson) Cobb on January 24, 1970 and she survives. He is also survived by his sons, Edward W. "Lisa" Cobb of Southport, Indiana and Brian D. "Stephanie" Cobb of Nashville, Indiana, nine grandchildren, and sister, Ruth "Harold" Aldredge of Greenwood, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Linda Floyd.

Edward was a 1964 graduate of Nineveh High School in Nineveh, Indiana. He served in the US Army and then transferred to the Army Reserves. He worked at Vernco and was a computer operations manage there. He owned Sun Kiss Inc. which was a tanning salon from which he retired. He was the Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop #255 for 10 years.

He was proud to be living in the house that was homesteaded by his family in 1820. He enjoyed collecting antiques.

A funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Tom Knight at 7:00 PM on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 3:00 PM until time of service on Friday.
