Edward E. Goff

Edward E. Goff, passed away October 11, 2020 at Homeview Center of Franklin, Indiana. He was born March 31, 1935 in Washington County, Kentucky. He was the son of Willie B. and Martha Hazel (Walls) Goff. He is survived by his wife, Verna Mae (Goodwin) Goff . He is also survived by sons, Jack (Glenda) Coffey of Cario, Georgia, David (Venus) Goff of Franklin, Indiana, and Charles (Emily Weddle) Goff of Edinburgh, Indiana, daughter, Christine Bryant of Edinburgh, Indiana, step-sons, Frank (Nancy) Childress of Columbus, Indiana, Roy Childress of Taylorsville, Indiana, Willard Childress of Columbus, Indiana, Tracy Childress of Clifford, Indiana, and Lewis (Jill) Childress of Columbus, Indiana, step-daughter, Reba Sinclair of Edinburgh, Indiana, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, brother, David (Sarah) Goff of Raywick, Kentucky, and sister, Juanita Harrington of Hustonville, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Donald "Donnie" Goff, step-daughter, Faith Brunsetter, and several brothers and sisters.

Ed was a member Sycamore Baptist Church in Trafalgar, Indiana. He retired from Amos-Hill Veneer Company in Edinburgh. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and making knives and guns.

A funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Terry England at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 16, 2020 at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday and from 11:00 AM until time of service Friday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
