Edward L. Gross

Edward Lee Gross, Sr, 71 of Edinburgh, Indiana,  passed away October 11, 2020 at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Indiana. He was born August 23, 1949 in Edinburgh, Indiana. He was the son of Alfred T. and Betty Jean (Whittington) Gross. He married Gail (Hoppess) Gross 21 years ago and she survives. He is also survived by sons, Edward Gross, Jr, Trey (Amber) Gross of North Vernon, Indiana, and Keith Gross of Columbus, Indiana, daughters, Jennifer Gross of Edinburgh, Indiana, Kera Gentry of North Vernon, Indiana, and Carol (Phillip Foreman) Gross of Columbus, Indiana, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and by five siblings.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Christopher Gross.

Edward had formerly been a sexton at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, baseball, basketball, racing, music, and telling stories.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place at a later date.
