Elvin L Finley

Elvin L Finley, 77 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away March 17, 2023 at Homeview Center of Franklin. He was born April 10, 1945 in Shelbyville, Indiana. He was the son of Ervin and Ethel (Fisher) Finley.

Elvin is survived by his nieces and nephews, Kathy Bennett, Homer Bennett, Paul Bennett. Melvin Bennett, Mary Hedden, Charles Bennett, Tony Bennett, Willy Grider Mike Fox, Parrish Newton, Anna Bennett and Kyle Allison.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Gerald Finley, Ervin Finley, Elmer Finley, and Dewayne Finley, Sisters Mae Fox Leuellen and Willowdle Lucille Bennett, and nieces Charity Petro, Sandy Heiza, Evelyn Bennett, and Wilma Bennett.

Elvin Retired from Amos Hill in 2006 after 34 years. He enjoyed fishing and running his dogs in Atterbury.

A graveside service will be conducted at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana on March 27, 2023 at 1:00pm by Reverend Randy Denton.
