Franz H. Burton

Franz H. Burton, 81 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away February 18, 2022 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born April 2, 1940 in Casey County, Kentucky. He was the son of Beckham W. and Zona (Rexroat) Burton. He married Mavis (Godbey) Burton on October 8, 1963 and she survives. He is also survived by his daughters, Janet Dick of Bethel Ridge, Kentucky, Sondra (Johnny) Burton of Edinburgh, Indiana, Cynthia Goff of Taylorsville, Indiana, Lisa (Greg) Johnson of Bedford, Indiana, and Becky (Chris) Marcum of Salem, Indiana, 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and brother, Raymond (Rosemary) Burton of Columbus, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Tarenna Jo Bryant, grandson, Charles "Chuckie" Goff, Jr, and sisters, Helen Burton and Beulah Faye Eaton.

Franz was a member of Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church. He was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed racing, wrestling, and fishing.

A funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Randy Denton at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from noon until time of service at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
