Gary R Harrison

Gary R. Harrison, 80 of Seymour, Indiana passed away September 1, 2022 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, In-patience Facility in Columbus, Indiana. He was born April 10, 1942 in Edinburgh, Indiana. He was the son of Charles D. and Mary (Brown) Harrison. He married Martha D. (Baker) Harrison on July 1, 1961 and she survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Vicki Clements of Carmel, Indiana, son-in-law, Jeff Clements of Indianapolis, Indiana, daughter-in-law, Kelly Harrison of Columbus, Indiana, grandchildren, Megan (Chad) Wilt, Matthew Clements, Michael Clements, Cortney (Brian) Brake, and Shaley (Jeff) Wright, 4 great-grandchildren, brothers, Rick Harrison of Bloomington, Indiana and Mick Harrison of Bloomington, Indiana, and sister, Sherry Hooten of Columbus, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Ronald Harrison, and brother, Danford L. Harrison.

Gary was a 1960 graduate of Edinburgh High School. He worked for IBM for over 20 years. He then finished his career at Eastman Kodak. He retired in 1994.

Gary enjoyed playing the guitar, woodworking, gardening, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was a loving and wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many others.

A memorial service will be conducted by John Dunlap at 5:30 PM on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 3:00 PM until time of service.
