Gloria Dean Caudill

Gloria Dean Caudill, 89 of Flat Rock, Indiana passed away on March 29, 2026, at Vita of New Whiteland. She was born on June 8, 1936, in Athol, Kentucky and is the daughter of Matt and Laura (Harris) Watkins. She married Thomas Caudill on July 10, 1953 and he survives.

Gloria is also survived by her son, Larry K. (Denise) Caudill of Nineveh, Indiana, daughters, Brenda C. (Roger) Perry of Shelbyville, Indiana, Teresa K. Petro of Franklin, Indiana and Lauraetta Caudill of Edinburgh, Indiana; grandchildren, Ryan (Kelsie) Caudill, Ashley (Jerrell) Likely, Shelbi Macken, Emily Macken, Billy (Natasha) Caudill, Mike (Kelly) Perry, Chris (Ron) Montgomery, Brandi (Donnie) Marrs, Craig Petro, Myranda (Nick) Syberg and Stephanie Morris; sister, Nada Taylor of Tennessee; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandchildren, Kara Petro and Ramey Caudill; great grandchildren, Sidney Petro and Mariah Rosaales; 6 brothers and 4 sisters.

Gloria was a member of Who So Ever Will Community Church in Edinburgh, Indiana where was a Sunday School teacher for several years and enjoyed working within the church. She worked at Amos Plastics for 37 years and retired in 1998. Gloria loved camping, fishing, spending time with her children and grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM by Reverend Ricky Burton on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Who So Ever Will Community Church in Edinburgh, Indiana. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be at Flat Rock Cemetery in Flat Rock, Indiana. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be given to Affinity Care of Indiana 846 N. Senate Ave, Suite 216 Indianapolis, Indiana 46202 or Who So Ever Will Community Church 623 S. Eisenhower Dr. Edinburgh, Indiana 46124 in Gloria's memory.
