Harold Wayne Clark

Harold Wayne Clark, 87, of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away July 24, 2026, at his residence. He was born September 11, 1938, in Calvin, Illinois and is the son of Russell C. and Helen C. (Herschelman) Clark. Harrold married Deborah J. (Brock) Emerson Clark on November 3, 1991, and she preceded him in death on December 13, 2014.

Harold is survived by his son, Boyd (Karen) Emerson of Edinburgh, Indiana; daughter, Angel (Bryan) Burkman of Franklin, Indiana; grandchildren, Joshua (Danielle) Emerson, Jakob (Hannah) Emerson, Mary Franklin Burkman, Milas Burkman, Bradly Burkman and Breanna (DJ) Scully; brother, Toby Ralph Thomas of California; sister, Elizabeth A. Lambert of Colorado and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother, Roy E. "Booger" Clark, sisters, Rowane Clark, Ruth Martin and Madena Clark.

Harold graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in 1956. He served in the US Army from 1956-1958 and is a member of the Edinburgh American Legion Post 233. He was employed as a truck driver and a member of the Teamsters Union Local 89 in Louisville, Kentucky retiring in 1989. He then worked for Arvins Meritor in Columbus, Indiana and retired after several years of employment. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, tinkering with old cars, visiting and talking to his friends and family. The family would like to send a special thank you to Keystone Hospice to express their gratitude and appreciation for all kindness and care Harold received.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM by Pastor Stacey Tucker on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana.
