Inge B. Barker

Inge Barbara Barker, 82 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away March 2, 2021 at her residence. She was born January 27, 1939 in Aschaffenburg, Germany. She was the daughter of Josef and Maria (Schmitt) Beickert. She married Calvin L. Barker on August 13, 1966 and he survives. She is also survived by her son, Yorck (Linda Keim) Beickert of Spire, Germany, daughters, Bettina Moody of Greenwood, Indiana and Christina Dean of Edinburgh, Indiana, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and sister, Renate (Gerd) Dlugosch of Aschaffenburg, Germany.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Akim Beickert, and sisters, Wiltrud Tenshert and Siglinde Beickert.

Inge was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Edinburgh, Indiana. She enjoyed going to her grandchildren's sporting events, sewing, drawing, gardening, going to rummage sales, and refinishing and reupholstering furniture.

A graveside service will be conducted by Deacon Russ Woodard at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
