Jan M Grider

Jan M. Grider, 68 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away May 7, 2025 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis. She was born May 19, 1956 in Franklin, Indiana. She was the daughter of Francis X. and Betty (Thurston) Cecil. She married Vernon Grider on January 6, 1989 and he survives. She is also survived by her daughter, Shayna Wheeler of Edinburgh, Indiana, grandson, Liam Kays of Edinburgh, Indiana, brother, Francis (Tammy) Cecil, II of Edinburgh, Indiana, sisters, Lucy Shewmake of Franklin, Indiana and Peggy Cecil of Whiteland, Indiana, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Kevin Cecil, sister, Cindi Lawson, brother-in-law, Randy Lawson, and niece, Erin Shewmake.

Jan enjoyed being a Grammy, jig-saw puzzles, and reading.

A graveside service will be conducted by Reverend Randy Denton at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
