Janetta B. Tabira

Janetta B. Tabira, 64, of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away September 5, 2026, at Franciscan Heath in Indianapolis. She was born on March 8, 1962, in Campbellsville, Kentucky and is the daughter of Goldie N. (Compton) Redman of Edinburgh, Indiana. She married Pablo Tabira on June 1, 2012, and he survives.

Janetta is also survived by her daughters, Brandy Gomez of Greenwood, Indiana and Amy (Steven) George of Columbus, Indiana; stepson, Daniel Albarron of Mexico; brother, Marty (Becky) Harper of Edinburgh, Indiana; sister, Sherry (Mike) Cook of Edinburgh, Indiana; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Elam Harper and Micky Harper; sister, Diane Harper; sister-in-law, Betty Lou Harper and nephews, Aaron A. K. Harper and Micky Lynn Harper.

Janetta was a member of Grace Tabernacle Church in Edinburgh, Indiana. She enjoyed scratching lottery tickets and drinking her diet Pepsi. She loved spending time with her family and especially being a Nana to her grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM by Rev. Terry England on Thursday September 10, 2026, at Grace Tabernacle Church in Edinburgh, Indiana. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana.
