Jeremy A Betz

Jeremy A. Betz, 46 of Jasper, Indiana, formerly of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away April 15, 2023 in Jasper. He was born January 10, 1977 in Columbus, Indiana. He was the son of George J. Betz and Debby (Shirrell) Barker. He married Kristy Betz and she survives. He is also survived by his mother, step-sons, Bert Rayls of Jasper, Indiana, Carter Rayls of Jasper, Indiana, Riley Rayls of Jasper, Indiana, and Jackson Forbes of Lewisport, Kentucky, brother, Robert Fitch of Nashville, Indiana, sister, Tonya (Jonathan) Stough of Buchanan, Michigan, step-brother, Larry Barker of Huntsville, Texas, and step-sisters, Jennifer (Camron) Greenwood of Sheridan, Indiana, Johnna Banki of Franklin, Indiana, Kimberly (Shannon) McMahon of Edinburgh, Indiana, Amanda (Nathan) Goen of Edinburgh, Indiana, and Lisa Barker of Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his father, step-father, Johnie Barker, and step-brothers, Johnny Barker and JD Barker.

Jeremy attended the Tabernacle Christian School and the Edinburgh Apostolic Tabernacle. He was a member of the Dearborn County Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his 3 dogs.

A memorial service will be conducted by Bishop Mark Myers at 7:00 PM on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Edinburgh Apostolic Tabernacle.
