Kathy Jo Hancock

Kathy Jo Hancock, 73 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away October 10, 2024 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was born June 9, 1951 in Columbus, Indiana. She was the daughter of T.A. and Juanita N. (Wycoff) Giles. She married Jackie "Jack" L. Hancock on July 30, 1972 and he preceded her in death on July 23, 2010.

She is survived by her sons, Shane (Anita) Hancock of Edinburgh, Indiana and Rick (Krissy) Hancock of St. Paul, Indiana, grandchildren, Callie Jo Hancock, Chloe Hancock, Ren Hancock, and Dustin Kincaid, and brothers, Richard (Barbara) Giles of Ocala, Florida and Larry A. (Charlotte) Giles of Edinburgh, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Kathy enjoyed watching her grandchildren's sporting events, cooking for family, flower gardening, and antiques.

A funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Randy Denton at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh. Calling will be from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
