Kenneth J Smith

Kenneth J. Smith, 78, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on June 18, 2026, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born August 3, 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana and is the son of Joseph and Joann (Wente) Smith. He married Martha (Hendricks) Smith and she survives.

Kenneth is also survived by his children, Angela (Aaron Deshane) Fox of Franklin, Indiana and John (Joanna Linton) Smith of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren, Kevin Fox, Rebecca Fox, Logan Smith, Adreyn Smith, Jalynn Tetrick and Adalynn Smith; great grandson, Silas Vargas; sister, Kathy (Jerry) Wise and his brother, Gerald Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Linda Jones.

Kenneth was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Indianapolis. He worked for Methodist Hospital and Target retiring from both in 2020. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Following visitation there will be a graveside service conducted at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana at 12:00 PM.
