Larry Dean Sloan

Larry Dean Sloan, 67 of Franklin, Indiana passed away May 11, 2024 in Edinburgh, Indiana. He was born June 21, 1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was the son of Dean Sloan and Georgiana (Weber) Sloan. He married Cheryl (Dehoney) Sloan and she survives. He is also survived by his daughters, Jessica (Isaac) Ritchison of Franklin, Indiana and Deanna (David) Grile of Westfield, Indiana, sons, Charles (Stephanie) Noel of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Kamrin Blaker of Franklin, Indiana, 9 grandchildren, brother, Fred Michael Sloan of Edinburgh, Indiana, and sisters, Mary Elizabeth (Jeff) Bailey of Edinburgh, Indiana and Diana Lynn Bryant of Edinburgh, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Kurtis Ray Sloan, and sister, Lillian Kay Caldwell.

Larry was employed by Arvin's in Franklin for over 30 years. He retired from Atterbury Job Core. He enjoyed aggravating his grandchildren, playing music, especially spoons and harmonica, golf, horseshoe pitching, pool, and working on lawnmowers.

A funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Randy Denton at 2:00 PM on Thursday May 16, 2024, at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh. Calling will be from11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
