Lillian M. Sewell

Lillian M. Sewell, 92 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away October 2, 2021 at Otterbein Franklin Senior Life Facility in Franklin, Indiana. She was born July 28, 1929 in Joliet, Illinois. She was the daughter of James Alstott and Ada Mae (Hair) Rector. She married William "Bill" Sewell on October 24,1990 and he preceded her in death on May 24, 2018.

She is survived by son, Ronnie Denson (Susan Newton) of Edinburgh, Indiana, daughters, Ladena Tungett of Edinburgh, Indiana and Norma Jean Merchant (Jim Sanders) of Franklin, Indiana, step-son, Anthony Sewell of Shelbyville, Indiana, step-daughter, Ellen (Dereck) Rice of  Shelbyville, Indiana, daughter-in-law, Wanda Denson of Peoga, Indiana, 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild..

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Donnie Denson and Randell Denson, and brothers, Hubert Alstott and Charles Alstott.

Lillian was a member of Grace Tabernacle Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing BINGO, and being outside working in her flower garden and she especially loved roses.

A funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Terry England at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Grace Tabernacle Church in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 11:00 AM until time of service at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
