Linda K Clay

Linda K. Clay, 85, of Hope, Indiana passed away on September 3, 2026, at her residence. She was born on December 22, 1940, in Edinburgh, Indiana and is the daughter of Ernest Bozell and Winifred (Miller) White. Linda married Donald "Don" Clay on June 26, 1992, and he survives.

She is also survived by her son James E. (Chassity) Myers of Columbus, Indiana; stepson, Don (Ravennia) Clay of Leoma, Tennessee; stepdaughter, Nancy (Randy) Hacker of Martinsville, Indiana; brother, Billy Rufus of Indianapolis, Indiana, sisters, Sharon Lipscomb of Taylorsville, Indiana and Bonnie (Tim) Coble of Franklin, Indiana; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; grandmother, Ethel Bozell who raised her and her sisters, sons, Robert W. Myers and Jack A. Myers; daughters, Christina Myers and Debbie Myers; brother, Frank Bozell; sisters, Phyllis McQueen and Judy Gentry and a grandbaby.

She was a member of the Edinburgh Apostolic Tabernacle Church in Edinburgh, Indiana.

Linda collected tea cups and loved animals especially her dog, Benji and her cats, PJ and Grandpa. She enjoyed car rides, watching the ducks, going to church, listening to gospel music and reading her Bible. Above all Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM by Pastors Mark Myers and Darren Burton on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Edinburgh Apostolic Tabernacle Church in Edinburgh, Indiana. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 PM on Monday, September 14, 2026, at the church and from 11:00 AM until time of service on Tuesday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana.
