Linda Mae Dial

Linda Mae Dial, 69 of Columbus, Indiana, passed away April 21, 2022 at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Indiana. She was born June 20, 1952 in Columbus, Indiana. She was the daughter of John William and Doris E. (Baldwin) McAnelly, Sr. She married Arvis "Mitchell" Dial and he survives. She is also survived by daughter, Paula (Dennis) Dayton of Edinburgh, Indiana, and brother, John William McAnelly, Jr. of Seymour, Indiana, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Cory McAnelly, sister, Sharon Goldsmith, half-brother, Owen McAnelly, and half-sisters, Myrtle, Maxine, and Florence.

Linda was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Columbus, Indiana. She was a CNA for 32 years and had formerly worked at Faith Nursing Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. She enjoyed attending church, singing gospel music, and spending time with her family and her dogs. Her husband was her favorite person.

A funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Randy Denton at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be Monday from noon until time of service at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
