Lisa Marie Williams

Lisa Marie Williams, 58 of Washington, Indiana, formerly of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away September 2, 2023 at her residence. She was born November 13, 1964 in Greensburg, Indiana. She is the daughter of George R. Newman and Evelyn (Moffett) Decker.

She is survived by her life-long partner, Chester Myers of Washington, Indiana, daughter, Chasity D. Williams of Washington, Indiana, step-sons, Mike (Tabby) Myers of Washington, Indiana, Derek (Erica) Myers of Montgomery, Indiana, and Jon (Victoria) Myers of Washington, Indiana, grandchildren, David Harper, Jadin Boone, and Kairi Anderson, 13 step-grandchildren, 1 step-great-granddaughter, brothers, Mike (Tammy) Decker of Hope, Indiana, Wayne (Patricia) Newman of Columbus, Indiana, and Karl Newman of Edinburgh, Indiana, sister, Gretchen Burton of Columbus, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Terry D. Newman, Robert Newman, and George M. Newman, and sister, Sonya Rutherford.

Lisa attended Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh. She worked at various McDonald restaurants in this area as a manager for 27 years. She enjoyed family reunions, thrift shopping, vacationing in Florida, and life.

A funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Randy Denton at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh. Calling will be from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
