Lura Miller

Lura S. Miller, 74 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away September 5, 2023 at Franklin Meadows in Franklin, Indiana. She was born December 8, 1948 in Marrowbone, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Thomas Thompson and Opal G. (Jones) Wooten.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Wayne Miller of Edinburgh, Indiana, daughters, Millie (Harold) Owens-Bailey of Edinburgh, Indiana, Bonnie (Daniel) Decker of Scottsburg, Indiana, and Carol (Troy) Sutherland of Columbus, Indiana, grandchildren, Zachariah Owens, Keegan Owens, Luke Senn, Michael (Liz) Moore, Seth Willey, Caleb Willey, and Kaden (Emily) Sutherland, and a sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, William Price, a brother and three sisters.

Lura formerly worked at Lear as a press operator. She enjoyed spending time with her dog Prince, watching older TV programs and camping.

A funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Terry England at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana.
