Margaret C. Allen

Margaret C. Allen, 69 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away May 9, 2022 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin, Indiana. She was born June 6, 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the daughter of Robert and Eileen (Flowers) Vaske. She married Wendill Allen on July 29, 1972 and he preceded her in death on July 13, 2017.

She is survived by daughter, Pamela King of Edinburgh, Indiana, sons, William L. Allen of Edinburgh, Indiana and Kevin (Renee) Allen of Orlando, Florida, grandchildren, Faith King, Jamie King, Aiden Harrison, Keaghan Chandler, Peyton Allen, London Allen, Annabelle Allen, Keara Leeper, Khloe Leeper, and Abel Wise, sister-in-law, Judy (Brian) Prather of Edinburgh, Indiana, brothers, Robert (Cindy) Vaske of Hamilton, Ohio, Tom (Sherry) Vaske of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Tim Vaske of Westchester, Ohio, sisters, Mary Bolin of Middletown, Ohio, Helen (Dave) Pendleton of Westchester, Ohio, and Linda Hooker of Conroe, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Rosey Armacost, and brother-in-law, Kermit (Sara) Allen.

Margaret was an active member of the Saint Louis Crossing Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, baking, working in her flower garden, arts and crafts, crocheting, and quilting.

A funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Doug Sharp at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Saint Louis Crossing Baptist Church, 6351 E. 800 N. Columbus, Indiana. Calling will be from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
