Marie Perkins

Marie Perkins, 95 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away August 14, 2022 at Homeview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Franklin, Indiana. She was born October 25, 1926 in Gravel Switch, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Oscar and Bettie Lou (Riley) McCarty. She married George Perkins on April 7, 1945 and he preceded her in death on November 9, 2012.

She is survived by sons, Donald Ray (Christine) Perkins of Flat Rock, Indiana and Larry George Perkins of Edinburgh, Indiana, daughter, Barbara Ann Coffman of Columbus, Indiana, six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, and five sisters.

Marie enjoyed being outside working in her flower garden, sewing, making quilts, and embroidering.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
