Nora T Roach-Byrd

Nora T. Roach Byrd, 98, of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away on August 10, 2026, at her son's home in Edinburgh. She was born December 5, 1927, in Red Cross, Kentucky and is the daughter of Thurman and Elma (Landrum) Britt. She married Roy Walter Roach on June 28, 1947 and he preceded her in death on August 5, 1979.

Nora is survived by her sons, Walter (Helene) Roach of Franklin, Indiana and Roy Wayne (Rosa) Roach of Edinburgh, Indiana and her grandson, Daniel Roach of Indianapolis, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her brothers, and sisters.

Nora enjoyed spending time outdoors, mowing grass and working on the farm with her sons.
