Penny J Ritter

Penny J. Ritter, 59 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away December 8, 2020 at her residence. She was born August 25, 1961 in Seymour, Indiana. She was the daughter of August J. and Sandra M. (Albert) Tindell. She was married to Ronald E. Ritter for 31 years and he survives. She is also survived by her mother, Sandra M. Tindell of Columbus, Indiana, daughter, Aubrie Jo (Caleb) Poynter of Edinburgh, Indiana, grandson, Charles James Poynter, God-daughters, Elizabeth Tindell of Taylorville, Indiana and Katherine Tindell of Taylorsville, Indiana, brother, Jeff (Kim) Tindell of Taylorsville, Indiana, sister-in-law, Julie Tindell of Columbus, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, August J. Tindell, and brother, James Tindell.

Penny was an Indiana Business College graduate. She enjoyed spending time with the members of the Women of the Moose, Chapter #456 in Columbus, Indiana where she had achieved the rank of Star Recorder. She also enjoyed playing BINGO, doing cross stitch, camping, watching crime shows on TV, and especially spending time with and taking care of her grandson.

A funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Chris Weisheim at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
