Phyllis A Chandler

Phyllis A. Chandler , 75 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away April 24, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born October 16, 1946 in Franklin, Indiana. She was the daughter of Osbie Streeval, Sr. and Mabel (Roller) Streeval Briddle. She married Larry Joe Chandler, Sr. on March 27, 1964 and he survives. She is also survived by her children, Larry Joe Chandler, Jr. (Royce Hutchines) of Dayton, Ohio, Tim (Lisa) Chandler of Columbus, Indiana, Allen Chandler of Edinburgh, Indiana, and Faith Taylor of Edinburgh, Indiana, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, brothers, Charles "Bugsy" (Barbara) Streeval of Edinburgh, Indiana, Timmy (Mickey) Streeval of Edinburgh, Indiana, Jimmy (Monica) Streeval of Edinburgh, Indiana, and Kevin (Cindy) Streeval of Taylorsville, Indiana, and sisters, Sharon Fultz of Edinburgh, Indiana, Pamela Streeval of Edinburgh, Indiana, and Deborah (Larry) Sluder of Morristown, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 great-grandchild, brothers, Donald Streeval, Larry Streeval, and Osbie Streeval, Jr, and sisters, Nancy Burton and Linda Faye Evans.

Phyllis attended the Edinburgh Assembly of God Church and the Northview Church, Edinburgh Campus. She worked in the cafeteria at David R. Webb Company in Edinburgh and the Edinburgh Community School's Cafeteria. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, garage sales, making candy and her favorite was making peanut butter fudge, and going on drives.

A funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Randall Burton at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Northview Church, Edinburgh Campus. Calling will be Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM and from 11:00 AM until time of service on Thursday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
