Shane A. Clarkson

Shane Albert Clarkson, 46 of North Vernon, Indiana formerly of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away September 18, 2021 in Jennings County, Indiana. He was born August 7, 1975. He was the son of Harold Albert Clarkson and Dorothy (Swallows) Barnett.

He is survived by his mother, children, Dylan Shane Clarkson, Lillian Marie Clarkson, Zachary David Clarkson, and Jacob Matthew Clarkson, and half-sisters, Angela Marie Clarkson, Lisa Clarkson, and Robin Clarkson.

He was preceded in death by his father and niece, Shayna Lynn Whited.

Shane was a 1994 graduate of Edinburgh High School where he participated in football and track. He is in the Edinburgh Hall of Fame for football.

He attended church in North Vernon and was currently employed by North Vernon Industry Corporation.

Shane enjoyed hunting, fishing, and had completed taxidermy training at The Buck Stops Here Taxidermy.

A funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Dale Boyd at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 24, 2021 at the Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 11:00 AM until time of service at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
