Sheila A Hendrix

Sheila A. Hendrix, 74 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away December 6, 2022 at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Indiana. She was born March 2, 1948 in Columbus, Indiana. She was the daughter of Wilmer and Pearl (Burton) Burton. She married Jon I. Hendrix on October 31, 1971. He preceded her in death on June 13, 2008.

She is survived by brothers, Dean (Kay) Burton of Edinburgh, Indiana and Jeff (Malinda) Burton of Columbus, Indiana, and sisters, Esther (Dan) Stanfield of Edinburgh, Indiana and Vickie (Joey) Russell of Edinburgh, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Michael A. "Mike" Hendrix, brother, Phillip "Mike" Burton, and sister, Beulah Littlejohn.

Sheila was a member of the Blue River Baptist Church in Edinburgh. She worked as a waitress and retired from Lear Corporation where she was a press operator. She enjoyed family get-togethers, cooking for everyone, shopping, attending Edinburgh High School basketball games, and her dog, Lancer.

A funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Justin Surface at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Blue River Baptist Church in Edinburgh. Calling will be from11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
