Stacey Lyn Ware

Stacey Lyn (Jenkins) Ware, 58, of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away on October 27, 2026, at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Indiana. She was born March 4, 1968, in Columbus, Indiana and is the daughter of Ted and Linda (Perkins) Burton. Stacey married David Ware on October 28, 1999, and he survives.

She is also survived by her mother, Linda Burton of Edinburgh, Indiana; children, Dean (Jenni) Floyd of Danville, Indiana, Shelby Floyd of Indianapolis, Indiana and Aaron Ware of La Quinta, California; grandchildren, Blake Floyd, Landon Floyd and Avery Floyd and her half-sister, Randa Nicol of Temecula, California.

Stacey was preceded in death by her father.

She graduated from Edinburgh High School in 1985, and was a member of Edinburgh Tri Kappa. Stacey enjoyed reading, going out to eat, taking trips to Brown County, shopping, watching Hallmark movies, and most of all the time she spent with her family and grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM by Pastor Danny Bailey on Monday, November 2, 2026, at Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church in Edinburgh, Indiana. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 4:00-7:00 PM at the church and from 10:00 AM until time of service on Monday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus, Indiana.
