Stanley "Stan" Brown

Stanley "Stan" Harold Brown, 73 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born September 3, 1947 in Edmonton, Kentucky. He was the son of Stanley Payne and Dorthalene (Hill) Brown. He married Connie Sue (Edwards) Brown on October 24, 1966 and she survives. He is also survived by sons, Stanley Lynn (Carrie) Brown of Edinburgh, Indiana and Kristopher Allen (Cindy) Brown of Edinburgh, Indiana, grandchildren, Stanisha (Keaton) Streeval of Edinburgh, Indiana, Jessica Brown of Edinburgh, Indiana, Lacey (Steve) Kirschner of McCordsville, Indiana, Kayla Brown of Columbus, Indiana, and Kierra Brown  of Edinburgh, Indiana, and four great-grandchildren, and one soon to arrive.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Stan was a member of Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church. He retired from Baldor in 2008 after 38 years of service. He enjoyed racing, hanging out with his buddies at Jack's Garage, painting and restoring old cars, and coaching Bantam football.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 1, 2021 by Reverend Stacey Tucker at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh. Calling will be from 10:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
