Sue Ann Mitchell

Sue Ann Mitchell, 90 of Edinburgh, Indiana, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022 at her residence. She was born April 3, 1932 in Shelby County, Indiana. She was the daughter of David and Mildred (Hull) Kanouse. She married James R. "Bud" Mitchell on May 4, 1952 and he preceded her in death on December 12, 1997.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Orberson of Liberty, Kentucky, Shirley (Phil) Brown of Columbus, Indiana, and Dianne (Chris) England of Taylorsville, Indiana, grandchildren, Amy Orberson,  Jarad (Amber) Mitchell, Keith (Ashley) Brown, Matt (Elizabeth ) Brown, Ethan (Ashley) Brown, Casie (Mike) Neal, Cayla (Josh Collins) Mitchell, James (Rachel Jefferies) England, and Brian England, great-grandchildren, Madison,  Brady, Aiden, Cullen, Cooper, Ren, Michael, Emmalynne, Elizabeth, Cambria, Marley, and Achilles, and sister-in-law, Cheryl Mitchell of Edinburgh, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Boyd Mitchell, Mark Mitchell, and Bruce Mitchell, grandsons, Terry Orberson, and Donnie Orberson, sister, Patty Ritchison, and daughter-in-law, Charlotte Mitchell.

Sue's family wants to thank the many friends and neighbors who helped to make it possible for Sue to remain in her home until her passing.

A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
