Thomas H Vandivier

Thomas H. Vandivier, 72 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away April 11, 2026 at Willow Crossing Heath & Rehabilitation Center in Columbus, Indiana. He was born July 20, 1953 in Columbus, Indiana and is the son of Bobby A. and Patsy A. (Harrison) Vandivier. He married Sandy (Shewmake) Vandivier on January 19, 1974 and she survives.

He is also survived by his sons, Jason (Eliza) Vandivier of Paoli, Indiana and Zeb Vandivier of Edinburgh, Indiana; grandchildren, Forrest Vandivier, Leland Vandivier and Katherine Vandivier; sister, Holly (Bruce) Cunningham of Columbus, Indiana.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; biological father, Bud Greathouse; brother, Jerry Vandivier and his sister, Michelle Terry.

Thomas was a graduate of Edinburgh Community High School, and served in the United States Marine Corp. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM by Pastor Randy Denton on Friday, April 17, 2026 at Who So Ever Will Community Church in Edinburgh, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana.
