Tim J. Myers

Timothy Jack "Tim" Myers, 77, of Edinburgh, Indiana passed July 28, 2026, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Tim was born July 19, 1949, in Columbus, Indiana and is the son of Rev. Grover J. and Louise (Crouch) Myers.

Tim is survived by his children, Danny Myers of Columbia, Kentucky, Tamara (Todd) Schwenk of Columbus, Indiana, Nicole Myers of Columbus, Indiana and Ashley (Daniel) Myers Roembke of Westfield, Indiana; grandchildren, Stephanie Arthur and Ella Roembke; great grandchildren, Nolan Arthur, Graham Arthur and Theodore Arthur; brothers, Stephen (Nancy) Myers, Paul E. (Bonnie) Myers of Edinburgh, Indiana, Mark J. (Elizabeth) Myers of Edinburgh, Indiana and Nathan R. (Barbara) Myers of Franklin, Indiana and his cat and dog, Mandy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughters, Farrah Myers and Rachel Myers; brothers, Nolan Earl Myers and James Leon Myers and his sister, Marcella D. Schoolcraft.

Tim was a member of the Edinburgh Apostolic Tabernacle Church. He was a self-employed master carpenter and enjoyed woodworking. He loved spending time in the outdoors, 4 wheeling, hunting, camping, boating and fishing with his friends. Tim was an exceptional saxophone player and loved playing on the platform at church.

A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 12:00 PM by Pastor Jason Vanlue at Edinburgh Apostolic Tabernacle Church in Edinburgh, Indiana. Visitation will be on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 4:00-8:00 PM and 11:00 AM until time of service on Tuesday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana.
