Tina L. Atkinson

Tina L. Atkinson, 65 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away April 10, 2026, at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Indiana. She was born November 7, 1960, and is the daughter of Willard J. and Marcia A. (Burton) Shewmake.

Tina is survived by her children, Ryan Chandler of Michigan and Nichole (Garan) Perkins of Edinburgh, Indiana; grandchildren, Phoenix Chandler, Jaden Hill, Cylus Chandler, Aria Perkins and Lyla Perkins; brothers, Terry (Jean) Shewmake of Franklin, Indiana and David Shewmake of Edinburgh, Indiana and her sister Sandy Vandivier of Edinburgh, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Tina graduated from Edinburgh Community High School in 1979 and was a member of Who So Ever Will Community Church. She enjoyed singing, dancing and being goofy. Above all, most important to her was spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM by Pastor Randy Denton on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Who So Ever Will Community Church in Edinburgh, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service.
