Tina Marie Burton

Tina Marie Burton, 66 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away Saturday 22, 2023 at Otterbein Franklin Senior Life Community in Franklin, Indiana. She was born December 19,1956 in Columbus, Indiana. She was the daughter of Dewey and Grace (Wallace) Howard. She married Steven Ray "Snags" Burton on April 12, 1985 and he preceded her in death on June 13, 2011.

She is survived by her son, Steven (Trish) Burton,11 of Columbus, Indiana, granddaughter, Karizma, sisters, Joyce Brittan of Columbus, Indiana and Penny Burton of St. Louis, Missouri, half-sister, Judy Hewitt of Brownstown, Indiana, and half-brother, Ernie Wise, Jr of Columbus, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Betty Kellams, Jeanette Whitlock, and Mary Kay Howard.

Tina attended Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh. She retired after 26 years from Franklin United Methodist Community in Franklin, Indiana where she worked as a QMA. She formerly worked at Brown's Nursing Home in Edinburgh.

She loved cats. She enjoyed fishing, camping, mushroom hunting, and collecting shells.

A memorial service will be conducted by Reverend Randy Denton at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh. Calling will be from 1:00 PM until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
