Tina M Hardiman

Tina M. Hardiman, 63 of Camby, Indiana passed away at her residence on March 3, 2026. She was born on July 23, 1962, in Portsmouth, Virginia and is the daughter of Charles Wayne and Dorothy (Critney) Chandler. She married Robert Hardiman January 9, 2004 and he survives.

She is also survived by her mother, Dorothy Chandler of Edinburgh, Indiana; daughters, Tosha (Samuel) Baskin of Indianapolis, Indiana and Teah Browning of Edinburgh, Indiana; grandchildren, Jayden Baskin, Nya Baskin, Khloe Baskin and Piper Baskin; sisters, Cynthia L. Reynolds of Columbus, Indiana and Patti (Tom Blankenship) Dean of Fisherville, Kentucky.

Tina was preceded in death by her father and brothers, Thomas Chandler and Larry W. Chandler.

Tina graduated from Edinburgh Community High School in 1980 and then she graduated from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. She retired from Indianapolis Public School Police Department in 2024. As a police officer within the schools, Tina was dedicated in making a positive influence and being encouraging to every student she encountered. She was also a volunteer with Indiana Donor Network. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's activities, traveling, suntanning on the beach, reminding everyone to "stay out of my sun", helping others and she was a friend to all. Her bold and honest personality could be heard from a mile away, with a contagious smile to follow.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00pm on Thursday, March 12, 2026, by Deacon Damon E. Boyd Sr. at Who So Ever Will Community Church in Edinburgh, Indiana. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 4:00-8:00pm at the church and from 11:00am until time of service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Indiana Donor Network at 3750 Guion Road, Indianapolis, IN 46222.  Arrangements by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana.
