William E Ezell

William Eugene Ezell, 82 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away March 11, 2021 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born June 5, 1938 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He was the son of William Guy Ezell and Lula (Bradley) Huntly. He was married to Barbara (Pruitt) Ezell for 54 years and she survives. He is also survived by his son, Gary (Daphne) Ezell of Edinburgh, Indiana, daughter, Sandra McNeely of Edinburgh, Indiana, grandchildren, Carly McNeely, Ross McNeely, Jordan Ezell, and Brooke Ezell, and sisters, Kathy Cheek of North Carolina and Emily Horton of Spartanburg, South Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Eugene was a graduate of Edinburgh High School, served in the Indiana National Guard, and attended Mount Gilead Baptist Church. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events, playing Euchre, and was a NASCAR fan.

A funeral service will be conducted by Randy Horton and Pastor Bryan Trotter at 10:30 AM on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 2:00 until 6:00 PM at the funeral home on Sunday, March 14. Burial will be at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Shelby County, Indiana.
